The GOTHAM JAZZ FESTIVAL is an annual all-day music festival featuring over a dozen of New York City's best hot jazz, swing, & blues bands for listening, lounging and dancing. The Festival often features over 100 musicians, often sells out, and is held at stunning locations such as Gilded Age private clubs like The Players Club, The Downtown Association Club, and Three West Club.
The Festival was founded in 2017 by Prohibition Productions (producer Patrick Soluri), and produced the first festival at the Players Club on April 23, 2017. From 2018 to 2024 Prohibition Productions partnered with New York Hot Jazz Camp (directed by Bria Skonberg & Molly Ryan) to feature performances by their incredible faculty, students, & alumni.

Kat Edmonson, King Solomon Hicks, Mike Davis & The New Wonders, Olli Soikkeli Trio, Professor Cunningham & His Old School, Sweet Megg & The Wayfarers, Hot Toddies Jazz Band with Queen Esther & Hannah Gill, and The Xylopholks; special guests: Terry Waldo, Dandy Wellington, Dalton Ridenhour, Arthur Migliazza, Daryl Sherman, DeWitt Fleming Jr, Jim Fryer, Jesse Gelber, John Dimartino, Jon Weber, Randy Reinhart, Spike Wilner, and Svetlana Shmulyian.
